Money
This is a delicate subject. Money. It is the cause of many problems, and cannot be ignored in Triathlon. How do you deal with the money situation? The bike, the wheels, the gear, the nutrition? Do you shop when he or she buys new tri gear? How do you deal with it?

Ok. Mrs. Manitoba - you have it right. Maybe Stu can help give US some swag? What would I want? Maybe a day at the Spa? Maybe we could have our own Triathlon: Shop, Spa, and a Movie! I could train for that! Where are the pictures? I would love to see his face! Cindy (Atlanta, GA).
Ok... just to set the record straight. I (the triathlete) am selling a bike (I know, I can hardly believe it) to help finance a NEW bike for my partner (the non-triathlete).
While we won't always share our toys... the only fair thing to do is create some kind of balance.
I keep saying I'm going to come home with a big screen TV, but so far I haven't followed through on that.
She asks why when we have a tv already and I tell her that watching football on the HD big screen would be like riding a new tri bike. I don't think she's buying it though.
My Partner was ready to draw the line when I was 'buying accessories for my accessories' as she put it. All I wanted was a pair of cleat covers for my look cleats so I wouldn't go flying everytime I hit the wood floor in our house. It'a all good....she is an awesome fan and support!
